Norberg: ‘We are USD’ for Dakota Days
In case you’ve missed it, this week marks the 100th Dakota Days homecoming week at the University of South Dakota. Countless organizations will be holding events this week to promote Coyote spirit all around campus, and I encourage you to attend as many events as possible.
As a freshman, I didn’t have a clue about what being a part of USD really meant until my first Dakota Days. Dakota Days is a week where, regardless of differences, campus and alumni come together as one entity to support each other and everyone rallies behind one monogamous message: We are USD.
Whether you’re a first-semester freshman or a last-semester senior, this week I encourage you to support the football team, or volleyball team, or the marching band, or those participating in Yotes Got Talent or those who have sacrificed much of their time to create an awesome parade on Saturday.
Help make this week the best Dakota Days USD has ever seen.
Go ‘Yotes,
Rachelle Norberg, Class of 2015
