Rapid City Woman Dies In Weekend Rollover On Interstate 90

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A weekend crash on Interstate 90 in Rapid City killed a woman from the city.

The Highway Patrol says 20-year-old Victoria Bates was driving a sport utility vehicle that spun out of control on an icy curve on Saturday afternoon. The SUV went in the dich and rolled several times.

Authorities say Bates was thrown from the vehicle and killed. A passenger in the SUV suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
