Sioux Falls Police Searching For 2 Men Who Shot Man In Leg

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Sioux Falls police are searching for two men they say shot an area man in the leg during an attempted robbery.

Police were notified Wednesday morning that the 23-year-old victim had been shot on Tuesday afternoon by the would-be robbers.

The man told officers that two men with handguns showed up and demanded money at his home. The victim and two suspects got in a fight, the man was shot in the leg and the suspects left the home empty handed.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says the suspects were described as black men who spoke with African accents and wore bandannas.
