Colorado Man Dies By Lead After Driving Motorcycle Off Road

DEADWOOD, S.D. (AP) — The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says a 46-year-old Colorado man has died near Lead.

The man was riding 2005 Harley Davidson east on U.S. Highway 14A on Friday when drove off the road on a curve and rode into the ditch. The man left his bike and struck a sign post.

The Fort Collins, Colorado, man was transported to Deadwood Regional Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The name of the victim is not being released pending notification of his family.
