SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — The National Weather Service has put three southeastern South Dakota counties under a tornado watch.

The watch, which mostly affects parts of Minnesota and Iowa, covers the South Dakota counties of Lincoln, Clay and Union.

It runs through 11 p.m.

Much of South Dakota remains under a wind advisory, with sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph expected along with gusts up to 50 mph.
