Event promotes the ‘Art of Sustainability’

Eco-friendliness, river preservation and cultural sustainability were some of the topics discussed Saturday night during the fourth annual Art of Sustainability event in downtown Vermillion.

“We have this event every year because it brings up great topics and gets people from all parts of the community talking about sustainability,” Morgan Appley, the event coordinator said.

The night started at 5 p.m. with live music and a potluck and included educational and vender booths along with multiple speakers.
