Governor’s Office Accepting Spring Internship Applications
PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — Gov. Dennis Daugaard is seeking two interns for his office’s spring 2016 program in Pierre.
The governor announced Thursday that his office is accepting applications until Nov. 1. The paid intern positions would run from early January through May.
The governor’s office says duties could include helping his general counsel, doing research and readying policy briefings, among other responsibilities.
The internships are open to undergraduate and graduate students with preference given to state residents attending South Dakota higher education institutions.
The governor’s office also encourages students seeking academic credit to apply.
