Don’t be afraid to try new, exciting fitness routines

This is the last week to participate in Blackout Bingo, and although I will not get a full card, I have earned two bingos and have a few more chances to get another before it’s over.

Trying all of the fitness classes has been an absolute blast.

Sure, some workouts left me feeling a bit more sore than others, but testing the different classes helped me find the ones I like best.

Certain classes will become a staple in my workout plan, while others I may not revisit.

Last week I did my best to add some new classes to the card.

I wanted to try going to a workout class every day of the week, but by Thursday morning my body was upset.

The classes I did get to, though, were awesome.

All were repeat offenders on the card: Les Mills Body Pump, Barre Blast and Yoga Flow. But I enjoyed them so much.

I’m not 100 percent sure what my future career will be, but I have a feeling I’ll need to carry a lot of gear around.

Les Mills is perfect if you’re looking to tone your arms and legs using part exchange gym equipment. There are a lot of squats and repetitions and sometimes it felt as though I couldn’t go another minute more, but I know the results will be worth it.

Yoga Flow is a perfect way to unwind and also a great place to try new yoga poses.

The instructors for all of the yoga classes I’ve had so far are excellent, and I recommend going to one to help wind down your mind and body before finals.

Now, my favorite workout class throughout this whole process so far has been Barre Blast.

If you’re looking to test the limits of balance and improve strength, this class offers everything you need to accomplish that.

Don’t be afraid to try a new workout. There has not been one class that I felt uncomfortable in, and your body will thank you later.
