Player of the Pack: Alli Lake
Alli Lake is a junior accounting major on the track and field team.
Dustin VanHunnik: What brought you to USD?
Alli Lake: Track and then academics brought me here. I came from Gettysburg (SD) so I love the small-town feel and I like how you know almost everyone.
DV: What do you want to do with your career after school?
AL: I want to get a job with a firm somewhere, and get into ag (agricultural) business. Then, sometime way down the line I would like to become a professor.
DV: Do you think you have a future in athletics on top of those academic aspirations?
AL: No, I don’t think so. I’m more in it for the awesome learning experience and opportunities. There’s a lot of experience in our coaching staff, and you don’t find that in small town South Dakota very often.
