Player of the Pack: Chris Streveler
Chris Streveler is a fifth-year senior working toward a master’s in sport management.
Karina Dufoe: How did you decide on sport management?
Chris Streveler: I actually finished my undergrad at Minnesota, so that was in kinesiology, so my master’s here is in sports management. I wanted to get into something that was more on the business side of things. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with kinesiology, so I felt like this would make me more well-rounded.
KD: Where do you see yourself after this year?
CS: I would like to play football after this season if the opportunity presents itself. Otherwise I want to get into sports sales.
KD: What is your favorite play to run?
CS: Probably Four Vertical. It just goes. We can play action with it, and it just has four guys going deep.
KD: Do you have a pregame routine?
CS: Yeah. I usually just listen to music; I don’t really listen to pump up music though. Usually just some chill rap, or kinda whatever I am feeling that day. Then we go through our team routine, like we will come out here and throw and then get dressed and all come out as team.
KD: Any game day superstitions?
CS: I am not really that superstitious or anything, I don’t really think that it’s a big deal.
KD: Do you have a favorite pre-game song?
CS: I’ve been listening to Post Malone’s album a lot, I don’t really have a favorite song from there but I just have that whole album roll through. That’s been my go to.
KD: What do you think of the fake Twitter account that is set up? (@fakechrisstrev1)
CS: It’s pretty funny. I think one of my buddies runs it, and he comes up with some good stuff. Every once and awhile I just shake my head, but sometimes there’s some pretty funny stuff.
