Madison Police Chief Retires After 36-year Law Career
MADISON, S.D. (AP) — The police chief in Madison has retired after nearly a dozen years in the position.
The Daily Leader reports ( ) that Friday was the final day on the job for Chuck Pulford, who spent 36 years in law enforcement.
Pulford joined the Madison Police Department in 1988 and became chief in 2004.
Detective Sgt. Justin Meyer is serving as interim police chief until a successor to Pulford is named.
