Regional Health To Add $10M Clinic To Hospital In Sturgis

STURGIS, S.D. (AP) — Rapid City-based Regional Health plans to add a $10 million clinic to the hospital in Sturgis to better meet patient needs.

Regional Health Sturgis Market President Mark Schulte says the health care system hopes to break ground in the fall on the 20,365-square-foot clinic addition.

The Rapid City Journal reports ( ) that the project also calls for dozens more parking spaces, and the sale of the building that houses the Massa Berry Regional Clinic in Sturgis.

Schulte says no jobs will be lost in the consolidation of the clinic and hospital.
