City Of Pierre Drop Sites For June Storm Debris Now Closed

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — The city of Pierre says drop sites for debris that were set up after last month’s storm are now closed.

The city reminded residents on Tuesday that city crews aren’t picking up debris from curbs anymore. Property owners need to dispose of the remaining detritus properly and trim or remove damaged trees that are in the boulevard.

The city baler facility is available to accept tree remains.
