PICKSTOWN, S.D. (AP) — A Tyndall man has drowned while boating on Lake Francis Case near Pickstown.

The Charles Mix County Sheriff’s Office says officers were summoned around 3:15 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports that a 72-year-old man had fallen out of a boat on the southeastern South Dakota lake.

The Yankton Press and Dakotan reports ( ) that after about an hour of searching, a dive team recovered the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the man has not yet been released.
