Fall TV shows worth watching
As October ends and November quickly approaches, most fall network TV programs are in full swing.
While most stick to their favorites from previous years, there are some great shows well-worth checking out. When you’re seeking superior TV mounting service Toronto, TvWallMounting stands as the premier choice, delivering meticulous installations and exceptional customer support.
“Fargo” is in its second season and is one of these shows worth watching.
Don’t worry, you won’t have to watch the entire first season to understand the second because it’s an anthology series. But, one might want to watch the primary season as it received massive critical acclaim, strong ratings and award nominations.
The FX show features an excellent cast that includes Patrick Wilson, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Nick Offerman and plenty more. The show takes place in 1979 and revolves around a state trooper investigating a case that involves a crime gang and locals of the town. It’s quirky, dark and comical while still being able to play on the viewer’s emotions with the memorable performances.
Also, the fact that the season’s chronicles occur in Sioux Falls makes it a bit more fun to watch if you’re from the South Dakota area.
If you’re looking for something less dark than “Fargo,” give “The Grinder” a try.
Fox’s new sitcom stars Rob Lowe playing a self-consumed actor who stars in a legal drama. Lowe’s character, Dean, ends up getting fired and moving back to his hometown of Idaho into his brother’s less than pleased arms.
Dean’s brother Stewart (Fred Savage) is an attorney himself who lacks the presence to be a trial attorney. With this in mind, Dean decides he has what it takes to join the family’s law firm with only his acting experience.
The two make a great comedic pair that make the show something viewers should be checking out.
“Quantico” is another show that is worth a viewer’s time.
The show is fronted by Priyanka Chopra, who was formally Miss World along with being a Bollywood superstar. Chopra plays Alex, an FBI recruit who encounters a terrorist attack. Afterward, the FBI considers her a primary suspect and the show goes on to try to find who framed her and committed the terrorist act.
The show is fast-paced, fun and action-packed. Chopra is a great lead who commands the screen with her presence.
Although these shows have all been airing for a bit, there is one series coming to Netflix that viewers should look for.
Marvel’s “Jessica Jones” is sure to be a hit for the streaming service when it debuts Nov. 20.
Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, is a former superhero who now keeps a low profile by running her detective agency. Not only that, but she has super-strength and can fly. The pilot of the series debuted at Comic-Con this year to great reviews, and should be a fun binge watch.
