Nov. 29
1. A domestic dispute at a residency at the 800 block of Cottage Avenue resulted in the assault of a resident. A 25-year-old Vermillion male was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, a Class 3 felony. The unidentified victim was not transported to the hospital and sustained no major injuries.
Nov. 30
2. A resident called to report the alleged theft of his vehicle at the 200 block of East Clark Street. After officers made a brief pass of the area, the vehicle was discovered near caller’s residence. Apparently the resident forgot where the vehicle was parked.
Dec. 1
3. Officers broke up a fight between two males outside the Old Lumber Company bar near the 10 block of Court Street.

A 22-year-old Vermillion man was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct. The other party involved, a 22-year-old Sioux Falls man, was also cited for disorderly conduct and released. Neither of the men sustained notable injuries.

4. A Vermillion male allegedly violated a protection order. The victim claimed to have seen the suspect near the victim’s residency at the 200 block of Hall Street. The case has been placed under prosecutorial review.
