IN THE KNOW: The 2013 Clery report for the University of South Dakota showed four instances of forcible sex offenses on campus in 2012.

IN THE DARK: According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics/Department of Justice, it is estimated that fewer than five percent of completed and attempted rapes against college women are actually reported to law enforcement.

IN THE KNOW: The Student Government Association is holding an open forum to discuss a diversity bill recently filed which would reserve four senator seats for students in any of the diversity groups on campus.

IN THE DARK: Members of SGA and students are at odds about the fairness of the bill.

IN THE KNOW: Temperatures have reached into the negatives for more than a few days this past week.

IN THE DARK: Technically, winter doesn’t even start until Dec. 21.
