Three killed, including shooter, at UPS facility in Alabama

Three people were killed on Sept. 23 in a shooting at a United Parcel Service Inc. facility in Alabama.

The motive is not known, Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper said. He added that the shooter was wearing a UPS employee uniform.

The alleged shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“When these people came to work today, they had no idea that this would be their last day here on earth,” Roper said.
