Men lose 65-66 to NDSU in Fargo
Junior guard Shy McClelland’s last second shot Wednesday night rolled around and out of the basket, putting an end to a close game in Fargo.
The Coyotes’ loss was their third straight in two weeks. The lead changed three times throughout the game, but the Coyotes’ largest lead was only by one. In the second half USD fought back from a 16 point deficit to come within a basket of the Bison, but the Coyote offense wasn’t able to make a last second play and fell 65-66 to North Dakota.
Leading the Coyotes in scoring was senior guard Casey Kasperbauer with 19 points and McClelland with 14 points.
USD will take on Western Illinois next Wednesday in the DakotaDome.
