Former Coyote makes NFL roster
Former Coyote offensive lineman Tom Compton was named to the Washington Redskins 53-man roster after surviving the last day of cuts Saturday, Aug. 31. Compton, a native of Rosemount, Minn. was a sixth round pick by the Redskins in the 2012 draft. He was the first USD player drafted since 1986.
