Exhibit displays natural earth tones
This month’s art exhibit “Generalizing from Rare Examples: work by Kristina offense.”
According to her personal website, Estell, a regional professional artist, has a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
While she resides in Duluth, Minn., she has showcased her work both nationally and internationally. Her most recent international exhibit was held in Stuttgart, Germany.
Her artist talk and opening reception was held Sept. 1. At the reception, which was attended by around 50 faculty members and students, she spoke of inspiration for her pieces, seeing patterns and unity as a major theme within her work.
