Huron couple gives $1 million to hunger relief campaign

Huron philanthropists Donna and Paul Christen have donated $1 million to Feeding South Dakota, the second seven-figure gift Feeding South Dakota has received this year, according to Keloland News.

The couple said strongly in the mission and want it to have enough financial support to continue.

This is not the first big gift the Christens have given. The couple has also given gifts of $25 million to South Dakota Community Foundation, and $5 million each to the Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation and Dakota Wesleyan University.
