The top 10 things to do before you graduate

1. Explore Vermillion. There are a lot of cool restaurants and shops downtown.

2. Pick a major that you will enjoy studying. Do not focus on how much money your career will make you after you graduate.

3. Try every “brule” themed item at Cafe Brule (Brule banger, potatoes brule, etc.)

4. Go to the Festival of Nations in the spring. Meet people from around the world and try their amazing national and regional dishes.

5. Climb to the top of Spirit Mound and take a group photo, because life is better with friends. 

6. Ask for the “Meat Shot” at Carey’s. It might make you throw up, but at least it’ll make for a good story.

7. Try a “DomeDog.” They’re delicious.

8. Take at least one class outside of your major. It might be scary at first, but you could have fun.

9. Check out the Vermillion winery. You might as well enjoy the finer things in life before you have to start paying back those student loans.

10. Go on a hike down by the Vermillion River. There are lots of trails to explore.
