Cheyenne Alexis: Why did you choose your major?
Jacey Siegfried: I like helping people. I’ve had experience with physical therapy and athletic trainers. I like that career, that’s why I chose it.
CA: What are you most passionate about?
JS: I think helping kids being able to continue on with sports and just do stuff that they love — just being able to do that.
CA: What sports do you like?
JS: I like a bunch — softball, soccer, football, basketball, volleyball. A lot of them.
CA: Do you play any sports?
JS: I used to play volleyball and basketball and track and field. Now, I just do softball in the summer.
CA: What do you like about USD?
JS: I like how it’s open to everybody. There’s a group for everybody. It’s very spread out and unique and everybody kind of has their place.
CA: What is something interesting about you?
JS: I’m an only child — first one to go to college in my family.
CA: Where are you from?
JS: Watertown, SD.
CA: Do you have a role model?
JS: I look up to my dad a lot. He’s strong, get through things. He’s very passionate about what he does.
